- Look for plurals first - If you find any word that can end with an S... use it!
- Look for common word endings and beginnings - RE-, -ER, -ED, DE-, UN-, -ING are all great ways to find longer words.
- Reverse words- There are several words that make a word when spelled backwards like 'RAT', which makes 'TAR', or 'NET' which makes 'TEN'.
- Be aware of the letter groups- Three letter words that can make many options: 'RAT'->'TAR'->'ART'.
